Production Craft added life and dimension to CNBC’s The Deed interview using two Canon C-300 cameras. Shooting with two cameras dramatically increases the production value of video. You can use one camera to get a wider angle of the interviewee and a backdrop, setting the stage for the piece. A second camera can be used up close, to get reactions of the interviewee. When making an interview, it is usually best not to have the interviewee look directly at the camera. Looking at the interviewer who is asking the questions makes the shot look more natural, and often makes it more comfortable for the interviewee as opposed to looking directly into the camera.
