  • Set goals: Why do you need a video? What do you want it to accomplish?

    Audience: Who do you want to see your video? Where/how will it be displayed?

    Message: What are you trying to convey? What action do you want your audience to take?

  • This depends on the project, who the audience is, where will it be viewed and what you want to convey.

    For most projects, we recommend no more than 3-5 minutes in length. If you plan to post on social media such as Facebook or Instagram, aim for 60-seconds or less, even if this means creating alternate versions.

  • Cost varies widely by project. It goes back to length, format and style, location, how long the video needs to be, your deadline, etc. We have worked on projects with a wide range of budgets, from $5,000 - $500,000. If you can pin down a budget range you would like to be in, we can better work with you to formulate your ideas to best meet your goals – budgetary and otherwise.

  • One of the easiest ways to save cost is to see what part of the project you can do in-house. Do you have a great marketing team that can script? Consider using them. Already have footage you’ve shot for previous projects? Send it our way!

    Using voiceover narration, motion graphics and previously shot footage to create your video is a great way to make your video more cost-effective.

    On the other end of the spectrum, we can send a crew to capture the footage you need and then pass it along to your own editors for post-production.

    Or you can shoot your own footage. Our producers – or yours! - can provide a detailed script and shot list to line up with your communication needs.

  • We plan for additional content creation for social in our estimates. It’s cost effective and your content will be more engaging when displayed correctly across all your social media platforms. You can learn more about how to edit for social media in our blog.
