Freelance audio engineer application
Production Craft is looking for freelance Audio Engineers to join our team of freelancers! Engineers will vary from project to project. We are looking for those who have experience in multi-cam productions, live shots for news broadcasts and webcast events, interviews and b-roll shoots.
Audio Engineers will be responsible for setting up and placing either wired/wireless labs or Boom mics. Some jobs may require lavs to be hidden. Audio Engineers will also be responsible for setting a hard line or wireless mix to camera(s).
Must be proficient in mic placement, boom mics, and operating field mixers and wireless mic transmitters and receivers.
Proficient with SoundDevices Field Mixers, Lectrosonics Wireless Mics and Receivers, and RTS Intercom Systems a plus
Must be willing to assist in other areas of production as needed.
Must be able to lift equipment up to 40lbs. Ability to load & strike gear is mandatory.
Must be able to troubleshoot and problem-solve under pressure.
